Anzac biscuits with cherries
16:01Ok so I've decided to stick with the 'biscuit of the week' thing. This time I decided to try anzac biscuits from Leith's baking bible. These biscuits were originally made by the mothers and wives of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps to send to them whilst they were away from home- lucky them!
I added glace cherries to jazz them up a bit which really worked well when teamed with the coconut in the biscuits. They turned out lovely and crisp, with a flapjacky taste- definitely one to make again!
